Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu meet at the airport and transfer to Hotel on
B/B Basis.
Day 02: One full day Sightseeing in Kathmandu vallay with tour Guide.
Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Gorkha. Gorkha is situated at 131 km west of
Kathmandu at an attitude of 1135m. At the end of a mountain
road that branches North from the kathmandu-pokhara Highway at
Abukhaireni. It
is the cncestrak home of the Shah Dynasty and home of
the Original Gorkha Soilders. Gorkha's centerpiece is the magnigicent
Gorkha Durbar which is a fort apalace and a temple with excellent
views of the surrounding valleys and the Manaslu Range. And over
night stay at simple guest house on B/B Basis.
Day 04: Drive Gorkha to Pokhara.Pokhara is an enchanting Himalayan valley
of Nepal. Pokhara (population95,000) is place of
remarkable natural beauty. The serenity of Phewa Lake and the
magnificence of the fish-tailed summit
of Machhapuchhre (6,977m) rising
behind it create an ambiance of peace and magic.
Pokhara is part of a once vibrant trade route extending
between India and Tibet. To this day, mule trains can be seen
camped on the outskirts of the town. This is the land of
the Magars and Gurungs, hardworking farmers and valorous
warriors who have earned worldwide fame as Gurkha
soldiers. the Thakalis, another important ethnic group here, are
known for their entrepreneurship.
Day 05: Pokhara one full day Sightseeing program.
Day 06: Drive Pokhara to Tansen. Tansen (pop. 13,600) is situated 123 km to
the south of Pokhara midway down the
Sidhhartha Highway in western Nepal. It is a
pristine hill town (elevation 1,371m) yet untouched by mass tourism.
The town sprawls over a steep ridge and attractive Newar houses
line its cobbled streets. The hilltop of Srinagar is a
popular vantage point with sight-seers.
Day 07: Drive Tansen to Lumbini. Lumbini is the Birthplace of the Lord
Buddha. Lumbini, the place where the Buddha was born
in 623BC, is situated in the Terai plains of southern Nepal. Listed as a
World Heritage Site by UNESCO, Lumbini
is being developed with international support as the supreme Buddhist
pilgrimage and a symbol of
world peace. The Sacred Garden where the Buddha was born
converges on the Ashoka pillar which carries an
inscripeion identifying the spot as the birthplace. The
tree-shaded lawn is dotted with brick mounds-ruins of
ancient stupas and monasteries. to one side
of the pillar is the Mayadevi temple which houses a bas relief depocting
the nativity. Excavations have turned up a stone bearing a
'foot imprint" indicating the exact place of bithe. The
puskarni pond where Queen Mayadeve, the
Buddha's mother, had taken a bath before giving birth to him lies nearby.
Day 08: Drive Lumbini to Royal Chitwan National Park. Over night stay
atIsland Jungle Resort on Full Board Basis.
Royal Chitwan National Park (932 sq km) is located in the
subtropical lowlands and consists of sal forests,
tall grasslands, hills, ox-bow lakes and flood
plains. Over 50 species of mammals, 55 species of amphibians and
reptiles and 525 species of birds are found here.
Animals include the one-horned rhino, Bengal riger, gaur, wild elephant,
antelope, sriped hyena, pangolin, gharial crocodile and the
Heangetic dolphin. Cobras, kraits and pythons are also
found here.There are many thatu villages adjoining the
park.
Day 9: Drive Island Jungle Resort to Daman.
Daman (elevation 2,400m) is the place to go for those seeking
the ultimate pan-Himalayan view and willing to travel the
extra distance to find it. Located 75 km to the south-west of
the Kathmandu Valley in the highway to the entire
Himalayan range, a sight guaranteed to leave the early riser
spellbound for days to come.
Day 10: Drive Daman to Nagarkot.
Nagarkot is situated at an elevation of 2,175m and provides a
grandstand panorama of the Himalayas. You can see five
of the world's 10 tallest mountains- Everest(8,848m), Lhotse
(8,516m), Cho Oyu (8,201m), Makalu (8,463m) and
Manaslu (8,163m)- and many other lesser summits. the snow
peaks look especially gorgeous during sunset and
sunrise.
Day 11: Drive Nagarkot to Dhulikhel.
The hill resort of Dhulikhel lies 32 km to the east of
Kathmandu on the Arniko Highway that leads to Tibet. In the old
days, Ghulikhel flourished as a trading center handling
commerce between Kathmandu and Lhasa. Today, it delights
visitors with its enchanting cultural heritage and stunning
Himalayan views.
Day 12: Drive Dhulekhel to borderline and return back to Dhulekhel.
The 114-km highway linking Kathmandu with Kodari on the
Chinese border follows the ancient trade route to Lhasa.
Know as the Arniko Highway, this spectacular road leads east
past Bhaktapur, Banepa, Dhulekhel and Dolalghat and
then turns north following the Crouse of the Sun Koshi and
Bhote rivers. Picturesque villages and tranquil terraced fields
against a backdrop of green hill are the scenic rewards on the
trail. The trip takes four days up and down. Overnight at
Dhulikhel.
Day 13: Drive Dhulekhe to Namo Buddha, Panuti and sameday drive to
Kathmandu.
Day 14: Sigthseeng in Kathmandu with guide.
Day 15: Free day in Kathamdnu.
